Free public skills

Bench Coach's public skill library and Custom GPT instructions are available without an account. Coaches should only share information they are allowed to use and should avoid passwords, payment-card numbers, medical records, and private third-party login credentials.

Accounts and youth safety

Account features are optional. If you choose to use one, Bench Coach may process your sign-in email and the content you choose to provide to deliver that feature, respond to support requests, and maintain security. Coaches operate the product. Minimize personal information about minors and do not create accounts for players.

Feedback you choose to send

If you ask your AI to report an issue, request a feature, or send feedback, Bench Coach stores the title, the message, and a short technical note (such as which tool and age tier were involved) so the team can fix things. Email addresses and common phone-number formats are removed (best effort) before it is saved; anything else in the message is stored as written. Leave player names, chat history, and other details about minors out of feedback.

Usage data

When an AI assistant uses Bench Coach's tools, our server records basic usage data so we can operate and improve the service: which tool or request was used, when, how long it took, whether it succeeded (with an error code if not), the type of client (for example ChatGPT) and its user agent, the language setting the client reports, and the server version.

You are identified only by salted hashes. ChatGPT's anonymous user and session identifiers are hashed before they are stored; when those are not available, we use a hash of the network address and user agent that changes every day. IP addresses, names, and email addresses are not stored with this data. From tool inputs we keep only a few non-free-text details, such as practice length, age tier, counts of goals or players, input field names, and the length (never the content) of any text entered. Prompts, chat text, and other free text are never stored.

Usage data is stored in Supabase and deleted after 400 days.

The website also uses anonymous, cookie-free page-view analytics by Vercel.

Service providers

Bench Coach uses service providers to operate the website, authentication, and optional account features, including Vercel, Supabase, and Stripe. When you choose to use Bench Coach through ChatGPT, your interaction is also subject to the applicable OpenAI terms and privacy controls.

Your choices

You can contact us to ask about account data or support needs. We may retain information when required for security, accounting, or legal obligations. Bench Coach does not sell personal information.
